Fast Aviation is located in at El Monte airport in Southern California El Monte is the closest General Aviation field to downtown Los Angeles (about 9 miles). Our emphasis is on safety, we have an incredible safety record, and for that reason we have a full service maintenance department on site which does maintenance on the police helicopters as well as our flight school equipment. We have also been selected to do primary training for the U. S. Air Force.
Quality flight training can be an expensive proposition; however, one opportunity to reduce costs on flight time is to set up a prepaid account with a block. The larger the prepaid block the deeper the discount. Accounts can go all the way down to zero you don?t have to leave any money on account and can be spent on anything we sell including ice cream.
Students who fly regularly accomplish more in less time (and therefore less money) than students who fly sporadically (who wind up spending more time in review). Most students average between $3000 - $6000 (depending upon which type of aircraft they use for training) for the primary rating.
